For the Pastry Cream: – 1 1/2 cups whole milk – 1/3 cup granulated sugar – 3 large egg yolk – 2 tablespoons cornstarch – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Topping: – Assorted fresh fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, and raspberries) – Apricot jam or fruit preserves (for glaze) – Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish
1. Prepare and bake the tart crust. 2. Make the pastry cream, chill.
3. Spread pastry cream into the cooled crust. 4. Arrange fresh fruits on top.
5. Glaze fruits with melted apricot jam. 6. Chill before serving.
